On July 10, 2025, there was a very special event in the Brandenburg town hall: The new president of the Rotary Club of Brandenburg/Havel introduced himself and his plans. In his review of the past Rotary year, he not only highlighted successful projects, but also focused on the important ones Day of German unity, which will be celebrated on October 3rd in Brandenburg Cathedral. This important festival has been taking place since 1995 and this year it is getting an additional emotional setting thanks to the club's collaboration with the city.

“Committed associations like the Rotary Club are indispensable for coexistence,” emphasized Mayor Steffen Scheller in his speech. This not only underlines the social responsibility of the club, but also the spirit of exchange and cohesion that has been present in the Rotary since its founding in 1905 Paul P Harris is maintained.
