On September 11, 2025, things will get exciting again in Werder (Havel): For the 17th time, the Werder Business Day will open its doors from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Bismarckhöhe (Hoher Weg 150). This event has established itself and is an important meeting point for companies and young talents.

The business day offers students from regional schools the opportunity to deal directly with potential training companies. Last year, around 400 young people found out about career opportunities from 30 employers, and the focus is on this opportunity again this year. The event helps to introduce future school graduates to the variety of regional training opportunities and prepare them for various careers.

Registration for companies

Companies and trainers from the region can already register to take part in the business day. Registrations must be received by June 30th. Interested companies should send the completed registration form to the email address v.riehn@werder-havel.de. The registration form is available on the city of Werder (Havel) website.

The trade fair not only offers school students an opportunity, but also the companies present the opportunity to properly present their training and work offers. This not only strengthens the regional economy, but also promotes dialogue between companies and the young generation.

Tips for visiting the trade fair

Participating in such events is a valuable experience for many students, especially at a time when many are uncertain about their professional future. Visiting a training fair is an excellent opportunity to find out about different companies and training offers. Questions such as “Which companies provide training?”, “What training courses are offered?” and “Which company is right for me?” can be clarified on site. This creates clear perspectives and provides an overview of the diverse career paths that are open to them.

In order to be optimally prepared, students should find out about the participating companies in advance, set expectations and goals, and possibly also bring application documents with them. Particular attention should also be paid to the supporting program, which often provides information about application checks and application photos.

Digital vs. presence

In times of digitalization, many trade fairs also take place online. Digital formats offer the advantage of flexibility and a lower threshold for conversations. Here too, important aspects such as a stable internet connection and logging in on time are crucial for successful participation. Digital trade fairs, such as Stuzubi Digital, help ensure that important contacts can be made even during the Corona period without having to travel.

A highly popular exchange between regional businesses and school graduates will be celebrated again on September 11th in Werder. Preparations are already in full swing, and the next generations can look forward to an informative event that could have a significant impact on the start of their professional lives.

Further information about the event can be found in the reports from City report and Werder on the Havel. You can also find a detailed overview of other training and career events at training.de.
