Weekend in Havelland: celebrations, music and exciting workshops!

The upcoming weekend from June 20 to 22, 2025 will provide entertainment and culture in the Havelland. In the next three days, the residents and visitors can expect numerous events that offer something for everyone. Whether music, sports or culinary experiences, the region has a lot to offer.

On Friday, June 20, children and young people can demonstrate their skills at the skaters workshop in the Skate & BMX-Park Nauen. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., creative cooperation is encouraged here. Registration is required to be able to be there.

fête de la Musique and numerous festivals

Saturday is all about the "Fête de la Musique". There is celebration and music in several places. In the village church of Döberitz of Premnitz it is about swing, jazz, rock and pop between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Entry is free! If you fancy further musical flights, you should visit Martin-Luther-Platz in Nauen, where the Fête also takes place from 6 p.m.

The Fête is not the only attraction this Saturday: in Friesack, Paulinenaue, Brieselang and at the numerous festivals in the region, music enthusiasts frolic. Whether at the summer festival at the athlete home in Vieritz from 10 a.m. or at the fire brigade day in Wustermark, the mood is provided. A special highlight is the 30th anniversary of the football club "Fal-Ken 1995" in Falkenrehde with point games and a subsequent celebration from 6:30 p.m.

After an eventful Saturday, Sunday is not neglected. In Börnicke, concerts will take place in the church from 2 p.m., while an organ concert will be enchanted at 3 p.m. in Priort. Also in Falkensee, an orchestra concert in the town hall is waiting for the visitors from 4 p.m., and in Nennhausen Castle there is also a reading by Norman Ohler at 4 p.m.

culture and creativity in the Musikschule Havelland

A special event will be the presentation of a creative stage design at the Musikschule Havelland on June 22, 2022. Niels Fölster and his team of musicians, dramaturge, make -up images, choreographers, singers and young actors have put a lot of effort into creating an unforgettable experience. The performance recorded with six cameras gives an insight into the first scene of the first act and promises to inspire the viewers.

The artists and technicians involved have significantly participated in the high quality of the performance. Talent proved particularly in the areas of light, sound and choreography. A carefully designed costume concept supports the creative representation and ensures the right flair.
