Weekend in Havelland: celebrations, music and exciting workshops!
The upcoming weekend from June 20th to 22nd, 2025 will provide entertainment and culture in Havelland. Over the next three days, residents and visitors can expect numerous events that offer something for everyone. Whether music, sport or culinary experiences, the region has a lot to offer.
On Friday, June 20th, children and young people can put their skills to the test at the skater workshop in the Nauen Skate & BMX Park. Creative collaboration is encouraged here from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Registration is required to be able to attend.
Fête de la Musique and numerous festivals
Saturday is dedicated to the “Fête de la Musique”. There are celebrations and music in several places. In the Döberitz village church in Premnitz it's all about swing, jazz, rock and pop between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Entry is free! If you are interested in further musical flights of fancy, you should visit Martin-Luther-Platz in Nauen, where the fête takes place from 6 p.m., also without an entrance fee.
The fête is not the only attraction this Saturday: music enthusiasts are in Friesack, Paulinenaue, Brieselang and at the numerous festivals in the region. Whether at the summer festival at the athletes' home in Vieritz from 10 a.m. or at the fire department day in Wustermark, the atmosphere is guaranteed. A special highlight is the 30th anniversary of the “FAL-KE 1995” football club in Falkenrehde with league games and a subsequent celebration from 6:30 p.m.
After an eventful Saturday, Sunday is not neglected either. In Börnicke there will be concerts in the church from 2 p.m., while in Priort an organ concert will enchant your ears at 3 p.m. In Falkensee, too, an orchestra concert awaits visitors in the town hall from 4 p.m., and in Nennhausen Castle there will be a reading by Norman Ohler, also at 4 p.m.
Culture and creativity in the Havelland music school
A special event will be the presentation of a creative stage design at the Havelland Music School on June 22, 2022. Niels Fölster and his team of musicians, dramaturgs, make-up artists, choreographers, singers and young actors worked hard to create an unforgettable experience. The performance, recorded with six cameras, gives a glimpse of the first scene of Act I and promises to wow audiences.
The artists and technicians involved played a key role in ensuring the high quality of the performance. Particularly talented in the areas of lighting, sound and choreography. A carefully designed costume concept supports the creative presentation and ensures the right flair.
