Cottbus´ rolling night 2025: dancing, celebrating and enjoying in the Altmarkt!

A special event is announced in Cottbus: The city of 2025 will transform the city into a dancing paradise on July 5th and 6th. On the old market, which turns into the largest dance floor in the region, celebrations are made until late at night in summer weather. The event promises an unforgettable evening with waltz melodies, donated by the Philharmonic Orchestra, and inviting hands-on activities.

Start of the celebrations is on Saturday, July 5, at 2 p.m. with an open waltz sample, in which everyone interested has the opportunity to refresh their dance skills. From 6.30 p.m., a free dance course under the direction of the Fritsche dance school is on the program. The Philharmonic Orchestra will sound the Altmarkt from 9 p.m. with fantastic sounds every three quarters. On this occasion, soloists such as Anne Martha Schuitemaker and Rahel Brede will also demonstrate their skills. Sunday: A day full of music and community
