The Future Prize Brandenburg has established itself as the figurehead for innovative companies in the state. Since its introduction in 2004, this prestigious economic award has been awarded annually and is characterized by the most creative and sustainable heads in the region. This year, a total of 91 applicants had applied for the coveted title, from which the jury now six finalists .

There are versatile industry representatives among the nominated companies. The 2m group from Potsdam presents itself, which combines environmentally conscious cleaning processes with the latest technology such as robotics and artificial intelligence. It relies on a fleet that mostly consists of hybrids and fully electric vehicles and has therefore made a name for itself in the building cleaning industry. The ardelt Kranbau GmbH from Eberswalde, on the other hand, has an impressive 100-year history and is one of the world market leaders for electrically powered double-leader cranes. After bankruptcy, the company started under a new name. Also AUGLETICS from Königs Wusterhausen stands out: their intelligent rowing ergometers for indoor training have already been successfully established on the European market.

With a strong focus on the connection between traditional crafts and modern technology, metal and balcony building Hansmann GmbH from Jacobsdorf. It manufactures tailor-made aluminum balcony and integrates artificial intelligence into its production processes. Monari Arts from Schlieben specializes in large-format tiles and uses modern technologies such as water jet cutting and CNC processing. Last but not least creates game building from Brandenburg on the Havel security products for children's playgrounds and even exports to Australia-an example of creative solutions in the play equipment market.

These companies together employ more than 860 employees and train 27 young people .
