New Asian restaurant Mido Son opens in Wildau – pure enjoyment!

Next Saturday, the new Mido Son restaurant in Wildau will open its doors, bringing a breath of fresh air to the gastronomic landscape. After almost two decades in which the Bergstübl offered Croatian cuisine, 45, Bergstrasse is now dedicated to Asian culinary delights. The owner, Dang Thi Cam Nhung, and her husband Vũ Tuan Anh, who comes from Hanoi, can look back on a long family tradition in gastronomy. Nhung's brother, Dieter Bremse, is also part of the team.

Mido Son's menu offers a colorful potpourri of Vietnamese, Thai and Japanese dishes. Highlights include the glassy glass noodle salad, the delicious sushi creations and the in-house morning red lemonade, which is refined with strawberries, basil, lime and lemongrass. Ramen, udon and pho noodles are also on the program, as are a variety of vegetarian main dishes. If you're slightly hungry, there's edamame, wantan chiên or papaya salad. The prices for the main courses range between 13.30 and 19.90 euros, while sushi menus are available from 13.90 euros, which proves to be a fair price for the quality on offer.

A careful renovation

The restaurant has undergone a major renovation over the past two months. The interior features attractive wooden paneling and atmospheric lanterns, which create an inviting ambience. The walls are decorated with pictures of Vietnamese rice fields and give the restaurant an authentic touch. A barrier-free entrance was also created so that all guests can feel welcome.

Solid opening hours from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily invite you to enjoy the special culinary delights. Vũ Tuan Anh sees Wildau as an ideal location where competition is lower than in the vibrant capital Berlin and where the chance for good business is high. He believes that the concept of combining traditional Asian cooking with creative and original elements offers guests a unique culinary experience.
