When the weather goes crazy and makes the air burn, be careful! Today, June 23, 2025, Sunday's high summer temperatures will be followed by a significant change in the weather. How Niederlausitz Current reports, the German Weather Service has issued a storm warning for the southern Brandenburg districts. In the affected regions, including Dahme-Spreewald, Spree-Neiße, Oberspreewald-Lausitz, Elbe-Elster and Cottbus, severe squalls with speeds of up to 100 km/h have been announced from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The weather in Brandenburg already caused excitement on Sunday with highs of up to 35 °C. Thunderstorms with heavy rain and strong gusts of wind were expected tonight, followed by a significant drop in temperature to around 12-13°C on Monday morning. This sudden cooling is accompanied by the arrival of a cold front that will cross the region in the afternoon, as DWD supplemented. This means that we are facing stormy gusts and local thunderstorms, which can bring heavy rain and small hailstones.

- Dienstag: Meist bewölkt mit Tageshöchstwerten von rund 25 °C und milden Nächten bei etwa 18 °C.
- Mittwoch: Wechsel vom Sonnenschein zu Wolken, mögliche Schauer am Morgen, Temperaturen bis etwa 28 °C.
- Donnerstag: Höchstwerte bis 31 °C, gefolgt von Gewittern und starkem Regen.
- Freitag: Mehr Sonnenschein bei 28 °C und weiterhin lebhaftem Wind.
- Wochenende: Freundliches Wetter mit viel Sonne und Temperaturen um 30 °C, dazu angenehme Nächte.
