A spectacular accident occurred on the B 87 between Weißenburg and Schlieben on Wednesday afternoon. A tractor with a trailer left the road and ended up in a ditch. The trailer tipped over, blocking the main road for quite some time. Luckily there were no injuries, but the police estimate the damage to property at an impressive 80,000 euros. Both the tractor and trailer are considered a total loss, and the road surface was also affected. The rescue work was completed at 3:00 p.m., after which the B 87 was reopened, reports Niederlausitz Current.
