Fischerjakobi in Plaue: parade, music and fun for everyone!
In Plaue, Brandenburg, a small but nice festival is just around the corner: The Fischerjakobi Festival! From July 25th to 27th, the banks of the Havel will once again become a center for families, friends and gourmets. The Fischerjakobi Association has put together a colorful program that has something for every taste. And the best news: entry is free! Loud Meeting point Brandenburg The festival begins on Friday at 4 p.m. with musical entertainment by DJ Roger and a celebratory opening by Pastor Christian Bochwitz.
A special highlight of the first evening is the big fireworks display at 10 p.m., which is accompanied by a scenic performance “The children bring the light to Plaue”. This promises to be a real spectacle for the whole family. On Saturday the big parade continues from 10 a.m., accompanied musically by the Märkische Schalmeienkapelle Brandenburg 1958. The street from Puschkinstrasse to the festival site will be transformed into a festive backdrop.
The program in detail
From 11 a.m. the atmosphere will be heated up by DJ Heiko Bartel, followed by the Ziesar Castle Musicians at 11:30 a.m. Another highlight is the rowing regatta on Saturday afternoon, which starts at 3 p.m. The event will be accompanied by the moderators Udo Geiseler and Jörg Pache. Dance performances from Ali’s dance and gymnastics group at 5 p.m. also provide entertainment.
On Sunday the day begins with a festive service at 10 a.m. in the Plau parish church, also led by Pastor Christian Bochwitz. The service is accompanied musically by the Laudare Choir. After the service, special attention is paid to the fishing procession at 2 p.m.: fishermen decorate their boats and bless the water of the Havel - a custom that combines tradition with emotion.
A variety of activities for young and old
A security concept ensures that visitors can feel safe while enjoying the various attractions. Additional security guards and bollards will be installed to block access to the festival site.
