On November 3, 2025, an incident occurred in the tranquil community of Eduardshof that sparked a minor uproar in the neighborhood. Two women, 22 and 32 years old and of Bulgarian origin, tampered with goods worth almost 300 euros in the local supermarket. The thieving duo apparently had no intention of paying for the products they found. When the market employees approached the women, they appeared aggressive and tried to run away. However, alerted police officers were able to catch the two of them very quickly and temporarily arrest them because they have no permanent residence in Germany. The loot had to be returned and now the judiciary will decide what to do next, reported News.de.
Also on the same evening, the police were alerted about a break-in at a single-family home on Waldstrasse. The perpetrators had pried open the front door of the house and searched the rooms for valuables. Nevertheless, the material loss was limited as only small amounts of cash were stolen.
Break-in into construction containers
But the nocturnal activity in some places did not end there. On that day, a break-in into four construction containers at a construction site on Lilienstrasse was also reported. Unknown people broke open the containers and stole various tools. The criminal police are active in all of these cases and will try to catch the perpetrators and ensure law and order.
