New management duo at the SHK Brandenburg trade association: Gürtler and Debertshäuser

Something is happening in the craft industry: The Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Association (SHK) for the state of Brandenburg has had a breath of fresh air in its management since August 1st. Michael Gürtler appears as the new managing director, together with Erik Debertshäuser, who is responsible for the technical area. Both have a lot of experience - Gürtler especially through his long career in the trades and in association work.

Michael Gürtler has had an eventful professional career. As a trained plumber and fitter, he has not only gained practical experience, but also theoretical knowledge through his diploma in business administration. Most people in Cologne will perhaps still remember his time as managing director at Heating and Sanitary Wolterdorf (HSW), where he worked until his retirement in 2024. He also left a real mark in volunteer work: Gürtler was a board member of the SHK guild in the Oder-Spree district for over 20 years and was involved in the collective bargaining committee of the professional association. What is particularly noteworthy is that he has already spent a legislative period on the board of the SHK Land Brandenburg professional association, which speaks for his sensitivity to industry-specific issues.

A strong duo at the top

With Gürtler and Debertshäuser at the helm, the SHK Land Brandenburg trade association promises to position itself more strongly. The new managing advisor will certainly demonstrate his good grasp of the relevant topics. Erik Debertshäuser, who also acts as a technical consultant, brings various specialist skills that optimally complement the team.

It will be exciting for the member companies and the entire industry to see how these two experienced experts tackle the challenges of the future. Fresh ideas are needed, especially in times when sustainability and new technologies are becoming increasingly important in the craft sector. The know-how of Gürtler and Debertshäuser is an invaluable advantage.
