Nordex secures 91 MW order for wind farm in Brandenburg!
The wind blows cheaply for the Nordex Group: the company has landed a new order in Germany. As Windbranche.de reports SAB Wind Team GmbH from Itzehoe of 13 wind turbines of the type N163/6thx. With a total output of 91 megawatts, delivery is another step in the successful cooperation between the two companies. The Nordex share reacted positively and rose by 0.9 % to 18.2 euros.
The "Fretzdorfer Heide" wind farm is built in nature in the beautiful Brandenburg, near Wittstock/Dosse. Construction work is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2026, while the turbines are to go online in spring 2027. In addition, Nordex and SAB have concluded a premium service contract with a term of 20 years, which underlines the long-term partnership.
successful company in the wind business
The SAB Wind Team GmbH is not a newcomer to business. Since 2006, the company has successfully implemented more than 70 wind power projects and has installed more than 1,000 megawatts - both in Germany and France. The company has thus established itself as a solid player, which acts cleverly in the growth markets of the renewable energies, such as emphasized.
The Nordex Group itself is a giant among wind turbines and has installed impressive 57 gigawatts of wind performance worldwide. With sales of around 7.3 billion euros in 2024 and more than 10,400 employees at locations in Europe, Asia and America, Nordex plays a key role in the global energy transition.
growing importance of wind power
The demand for renewable energies is growing steadily. According to an analysis of Statista.com , the energy market is driven by population growth and economic development. The trend is clearly towards cleaner and sustainable energy sources. Wind power and other renewable energies are very popular, while fossil fuels lose importance, but will remain important for some time.
The ongoing geopolitical tensions, especially the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, have reinforced the urge to diversify the energy sources. This can also be seen in the rapidly growing wind power industry. Regional and global investments in the expansion of renewable energies are essential to cover the future energy requirements responsibly and sustainably.
With the new project in Brandenburg, Nordex once again shows that the future of energy is in wind power. The coming years promise a lot of movement and progress for us all - both in Cologne and beyond.Details | |
