Creepy party weekend: Events in Oberhavel from October 30th to November 2nd.

From October 30th to November 2nd, there are various exciting events coming up in the Oberhavel region that offer some highlights for both party animals and those interested in culture. From Oktoberfest to Halloween celebrations – there is something for every taste.

On Thursday, October 30th, the festivities begin with a hearty Oktoberfest in Gransee, where the Tschirgant Duo from Austria will ensure the best atmosphere. The event runs from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. and tickets cost 25.96 euros. At the same time, Großwoltersdorf invites you to a Halloween party that starts at 5 p.m., followed by a candlelight parade at 6 p.m. In Hennigsdorf, a Halloween party is waiting for the guests in the North neighborhood meeting point, starting at 10 a.m.

Diverse events on Halloween weekend

On Friday, October 31st, things really get down to business. The cinema in Fürstenberg is showing the film “Peacock – Am I Real?” at 8 p.m., entry is 10 euros. In Gransee, the Flottn3er party band will be on stage at the second Oktoberfest event, also from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. In Neuglobsow, children can experience spooky surprises at the ghost festival from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. For adults, a city tour of Zehdenick is offered at 2 p.m., which will only lighten your wallet by 5 euros.

Particularly worth mentioning is the Kremmen crime evening with author Richard Brandes, which is sold out due to popular demand. If you like it more relaxed, you can be enchanted by piano music in the Nicolaikirche in Oranienburg at 8.30 p.m. - free of charge. While the comedy “Port of Marriage” is being performed in Wandlitz, Mildenberg is getting down to business with a Halloween train ride and artistic performances.

There's still a lot waiting for you on Sunday, November 2nd

If you still haven't had enough after the Halloween spectacle, you can visit a model railway exhibition in Lehnitz on Sunday, November 2nd, which is open from Friday to Sunday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. An open course is offered for yoga fans in Neuglobsow. A classical concert with Beethoven's 9th Symphony is on the program in Zehdenick at 4 p.m. - tickets cost 24 euros. An exhibition by Ulrike Hogrebe and Robert Günther can also be seen until this day; admission is subject to a donation.

Halloween is also celebrated elsewhere in Germany, although with less tradition than in the USA. In Saarland, for example, there are numerous events ranging from inner cities with a spooky atmosphere to live DJs in party tents. The horror tent in Berus and the events in St. Wendel are particularly attractive, as the Saarbrücker Zeitung reports. Clouds of fog will devastate the city center and offer eerie entertainment on three stages, while the spooky party tent will open at 8 p.m. An Adventure Golf Halloween party is also on the program, which transforms the course into a spooky ghost landscape, supported by a fire show.

A few more words about Oktoberfest, which is celebrating its 190th anniversary this year. This largest folk festival in Germany traditionally begins in September and lasts until the first week of October, a real crowd puller, even in the hills of Bavaria. The mayor of Munich announces with the famous “O’ zapft is!” the starting signal before he taps the first beer keg.

In conclusion, the events during these exciting days are guaranteed to provide lots of fun and entertainment. Whether you're partying, spooking or enjoying good music - there's something for everyone in Oberhavel and beyond.
