Havelland in a musical frenzy: Fête de la Musique inspires at the weekend!
Summer is at its best and there is a lot going on in Havelland. On the weekend from June 20th to 22nd, 2025, there will be a colorful program for young and old that leaves little to be desired. Events are planned in the various cities in the region that will make every culture lover's heart beat faster.
On Friday, June 20th, the weekend starts with a special event: an exciting skater workshop for children and young people will take place in the Skate & BMX Park in Nauen. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. the young talents can demonstrate their talent. Registration is required, so it's worth being quick!
Fête de la Musique thrilled
Particularly in the spotlight is Saturday, June 21st, known as the “Fête de la Musique”. This international music event attracts numerous visitors and is celebrated in several places in Havelland. In Premnitz, for example, you can enjoy a concert by the band Union Brass in the Döberitz village church from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. - with free admission.
The “Fête de la Musique” is also celebrated in Friesack, at the “Satt und Glück” restaurant, where the first sounds can be heard at 2 p.m. In Paulinenaue and Brieselang it continues at 3 p.m., while in Nauen the music will fill the air at Martin-Luther-Platz at 6 p.m. The diversity is impressive: wherever you look, there are opportunities to discover new music and party hard.
It's not just music that has a lot to offer. The Havelland Senior Citizens' Day on the town hall square in Nauen from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. as well as numerous summer festivals in Vieritz and Nennhausen, which start at 10 a.m., also bring a happy atmosphere to the region. A fire brigade day in Wustermark, a flea market in Nauen and a family festival in Falkensee round off the offer.
Culturally diverse events
In the evening hours on Saturday there are also plenty of offers for night owls: from an accordion concert in the Berger village church to a piano concert in the culture barn in Paretz. A dance by the lake in Hohennauen promises an atmospheric atmosphere, while in Ferchesar a cinema evening begins in the church. Culture is celebrated in all facets!
Sunday, June 22nd, offers another concentrated program. In Börnicke, for example, the gates of the church invite you to a concert at 2 p.m., followed by an organ concert in Priort at 3 p.m. and an orchestra concert in the Falkensee town hall at 4 p.m. Norman Ohler will give a reading in Nennhausen at 4 p.m., which will certainly be of great interest.
The variety of events in Havelland once again makes it clear that there is always something on offer here, culturally speaking. For anyone who enjoys music, celebration and community, this weekend is the ideal time to get involved. Whether young or old – there is something for everyone!
