Clausnitzer shines: Second place twice at the Nürburgring!

In an exciting weekend at the Nürburgring, Lausitz racing driver Henry Clausnitzer continued his winning streak. On June 25, 2025, he took part in the second German round of the BOSS GP Racing Series and once again showed that he can be at the forefront of motorsport. After two strong second places in Hockenheim, spirits were high, and the Nürburgring, where he already finished third in 2024, seemed well disposed towards him.

The weather on Friday was ideal for the free training sessions. Clausnitzer was able to take advantage of the good weather to optimally prepare for qualifying on Saturday morning. Here he secured second place on the grid in his class in qualifying, which gave him promising chances for the two races at the weekend. The first run on Saturday went without any notable incidents. Even the rain in the second half couldn't slow down his performance; he crossed the finish line again in second place. This confirmed his consistency and ability, as niederlausitz-aktuell.de reports.

Delays and challenges

However, Sunday started with difficulties. Fog and thunderstorms caused delays and kept fans and drivers on tenterhooks. The start of the second race had to be postponed by over two hours. After the long wait, Clausnitzer was able to meet expectations and take second place again. His position in qualifying proved to be no coincidence. Both races were dominated by Stefan Scho, who constantly kept his competitors at bay in the Super Lights class.

Clausnitzer's performance not only accelerated him in direct competition, but also secured him valuable points in the Super Lights classification. Although Clausnitzer had to give up the top position to Scho, he remains the championship leader in this class, which further fuels his ambitions for the coming races. In addition, he plans to continue his successful streak at the next race in Monza, which takes place on July 5-6, 2025.

Successes of other drivers

There was also a lot going on in other classes at the BOSS GP Racing Series on the same weekend. Ingo Gerstl (Formula 1 Toro Rosso) won the F1 class at the Red Bull Ring, while Antonio Pizzonia took first place in the OPEN class. In the FORMULA class, Simone Colombo celebrated his fifth win of the season and showed that there is currently no stopping him. The young driver Stefan Eisinger-Sewald also secured victory in the SUPER LIGHTS class, which underlines the strong competition in the racing circuit, as bossgp.com and bossgp.com describe.

Clausnitzer and his fans are still looking forward to the next challenges in motorsport. We can only hope that he maintains his good hand and continues to cause a sensation. It remains exciting!
