The anticipation is increasing: On July 19, 2025, the Stern Center in Potsdam will be the venue for up-and-coming talent! From 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. there will be a very special casting event organized by City Report. New faces are being sought for TV formats under the watchful eye of professional talent scouts from UFA Base. And the best part? The event is free and suitable for the whole family!
What can participants expect? First you have to fill out a digital data form. Professional photos are then created for the sedcard, which are displayed on www.ufa-base.de be uploaded. The participants also have the opportunity to present their talent in front of the video camera. Pre-registration is not necessary, but girls and boys should be at least 7 years old. Important: Those under 16 need their parents’ consent.
From Cologne to Potsdam: Opportunities for talent
But it's not just happening in Potsdam! Cologne is also looking for fresh faces. The popular RTL series “Unter Uns” wants to recruit new extras and small actors. Applications are possible for everyone from Cologne or the surrounding area. Interested parties should submit a photo or video as well as a short text to apply. This means that the casters have access to the applicant data and can get in touch with suitable assignments. Filming takes place in the MMC Studios in Cologne-Ossendorf, where the fee starts at 12 euros per hour - and the minimum fee per day of shooting is a fair 48 euros, as UFA Base reports.
