Business Prize 2025: These companies are setting new standards!

On July 10, 2025, District Administrator Ralf Reinhardt announced the nominees for the A24 Business Prize 2025. An impressive eight companies were selected from a total of 34 applications. These companies shine through both innovation and their social commitment in the region. The competition is divided into two categories: companies with fewer than 50 employees and those with over 50. maz online reports that the nominees in the category with fewer than 50 employees stand out for their commitment to training, sustainability and cultural projects, among other things.

The nominees in the smaller category are particularly proud:

Nominees of large companies and company succession

There are also notable companies in the category of companies with over 50 employees:

The introduction of a fourth trophy, which is awarded for company succession, is particularly pleasing. The winners in all categories will be announced at a festive awards ceremony on September 16th at the Design Station in Wittstock. All 34 applicants are personally invited to take part in this special honor.

Social engagement in focus

The A24 Business Prize not only shows the economic strength of the region, but also reflects strong social commitment. This award provides impetus for a more sustainable economy and sets an example for responsibility. The German Prize for Corporate Commitment, which was awarded on May 27th in Berlin, is similarly important. This award honored companies that address social challenges in partnership with various stakeholders, be it through education, climate protection or support for democracy. 15 companies were honored in four categories and with a special prize for outstanding corporate volunteering, which shows that commitment is highly valued in the German economy. haufe.de highlights that an expert jury selected the prize winners from 89 submissions.

In order to continue to operate successfully in the future, it is important that companies not only focus on profits, but also make their contribution to society. Such initiatives not only strengthen the regional economy, but also promote good coexistence.
