Fortunately, the play equipment, including the freshly renovated pirate ship, remained unscathed.

The city administration already has plans to replace the fallen trees that caused shadows with new specimens. It is also checked whether additional sun protection can be installed in the play area in order to offer the small adventurers even more comfort. The playground is a real paradise for the children, and not only the little pirates, but also their parents, is pleased that everything was completed in good time. At the 2023 annual inspection, considerable wear and safety deficiencies were found on four play equipment, which is why they are now completely replaced. Among the innovations will be a child -friendly rope ferry that makes playing more secure and more varied. The old suspension bridge is replaced by a modern construction made of steel pipes, while the climbing tower on the island is also replaced by a new one. The co -designer of the playground, Eckart Brandau, again participated creatively and designed a climbing pyramid made of robinia wood that offers several game functions.
