Plan for Gerostrasse: Citizen participation and new ideas will start soon!

In Brandenburg an der Havel, a significant redesign of Gerostrasse is imminent, which the city administration has been planning for several years. A central goal of this project is to shift through car traffic from the old town and the adjacent residential areas. In order to achieve this, the city ring should be expanded to Gerostrasse and more efficient streets should be created. These plans have now been restarted and the city administration intends to actively involve citizens in the process. Now the next step is imminent: From September 1, 2025, interested citizens can actively participate in the further development of the urban development plan, express suggestions and contribute their opinions via the Adhocracy Plus participation platform. A public information meeting is scheduled for September 11, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at North High School. There, urban development, together with the roads and bridges departments, will present the current status of the planning and explain the further course of events.
