Full closure at the Potsdam triangle: A9 towards A10 affected from Wednesday!
There will soon be significant traffic disruptions in the Potsdam area. From Wednesday, September 3rd at 8 a.m. to Friday, September 5th at 2 p.m., the slip road from the A9 towards the A10 at the Potsdam motorway triangle will be completely closed. This measure is necessary in order to carry out renovation work on the motorway, as the federal Autobahn GmbH informs on the Werder (Havel) website. The closure only affects the ramp that leads from Leipzig towards the A10. Fortunately, the entrance and exit towards Leipzig and Munich remain fully usable, which eases the situation somewhat.
But that's not enough. There have been further restrictions on the A9 since August 4th. The exit from the L88 in the direction of the Potsdam triangle is closed, followed by the Beelitz-Heilstätten exit, which can no longer be used from August 18th. These closures are part of a comprehensive maintenance measure on the A9 and are expected to be completed by September 10th. The diversion is provided via the Beelitz junction (AS 3), so that travelers can still reach their destination safely, as the city of Beelitz reports.
