Imaginative family concert: Kapellina inspires in the castle theater!

Potsdam, Deutschland - A colorful adventure for the whole family is in the house: the Kammerakademie Potsdam invites you to a very special family in the Schlosstheater Rheinsberg on Saturday, June 21, at 3 p.m. There the popular mascot of Kapellina, a cello fashioner with large ears and curious eyes, which little visitors take on a musical journey will be taken there.

Kapellina and her friends promise a varied idea that is aimed specifically at children from the age of three and their families. The program offers chamber music-occupied music from different countries and centuries, including Fiddle tunes from Ireland, Bavarian, Jewish and Spanish melodies. In addition, visitors can look forward to clarinet sounds from France and baroque dances by Henry Purcell. The program is complemented by humorous works by Mozart and popular children's songs with sing -along potential such as "Bella Bimba" and "Bumping Hanna". Each piece of music takes a maximum of three minutes, which does not overwhelm the concentration of the little ones.

participation expressly desired

It gets particularly exciting for the children when participating: body percussion, dance actions and various movement elements are expressly desired, since the organizers want to promote the perception, concentration and motor skills of the children. The concept of the school project shows how versatile and appealing classical music can be for the youngest generations. Already in Potsdam, this philosophy is carried on by various Family events that inspire with hands-on activities and handicrafts.

The Chamber Academy is not the only place that works for families and children. The Zürcher Chamber Orchestra has made a name for itself with his pioneering work in the family concerts. Every year around 25 to 30 concerts for children from 0 to 12 years of age are held there who not only offer music, but also tell age -appropriate stories and actively involve the youngest music lovers. Formats such as the Nuggi concerts for families with toddlers up to a year or the Purzel concerts for children from 3 to 5 years create an inviting atmosphere and enable unforgettable experiences for the whole family.

The concert on June 21 in Rheinsberg not only offers high -quality music, but also an excellent opportunity to live out creatively as a family and discover the love of music. If you want to learn more about the program, you can find more information on the website of the Schlosstheater Rheinsberg.
