Potsdam celebrates wine! Wine market on Luisenplatz starts soon
On Thursday at 12 p.m. it's all happening again on Luisenplatz in Potsdam! The popular wine market opens its doors and invites all wine lovers to spend a few unforgettable days. For the second time this year, the event welcomes numerous winemakers and wineries who present their best wines from Germany and other European countries.
Until August 24th, guests can toast with the best wine every day from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. (until 8 p.m. on the last day). The selection ranged from white, rosé and red wines to sparkling sparkling wines and delicious fruit and pomace brandies. The winemakers are available to explain their wines and to help guests choose the right bottle. And the best part? Entry is free!
Pleasure for all senses
In addition to wine, culinary delights are also not neglected. At the wine market there are hearty dishes that ensure your physical well-being. From Alsatian tarte flambée to South Tyrolean cheese and meat specialties to offers from the grill wagon, there is something for every palate. This not only attracts wine connoisseurs, but also everyone who wants to enjoy a beautiful summer evening in the open air.
The weather could create a special atmosphere: with over 30 degrees at the start of the market, above-average temperatures can also be expected, which makes the terrace of the best wine stands all the more inviting. At the same time, the Potsdam Summer Festival is taking place in the Lustgarten until August 17th, which further revives the atmosphere.

This year, the Kölle winery from Bönnigheim, Baden-Württemberg, is celebrating its premiere and is sure to be the talk of the festival and wine enthusiasts. The list of participating winemakers from all over Germany shows the diverse wine landscape, which offers something for every taste.
