Potsdam meets Berlin: The thrill derby in the FD Cup!

An exciting derby is just around the corner! SC Potsdam will play against the Berlin Rockets on November 29, 2025 as part of the 3rd round of the men's FD Cup. The draw for this clash took place in Düsseldorf last week and anticipation for the match is already high. Atte Ronkanen, Potsdam's player-coach, was optimistic about the draw and is looking forward to the duel with the Berlin Rockets. In the last Bundesliga game between the two teams, Potsdam was able to prevail in overtime, which provided additional motivation.

There are currently 32 teams still in the competition, and the excitement is rising as two of the direct clashes take place at league level: Blau-Weiß 96 Schenefeld meets SC DHfK Leipzig, while the Potsdam vs. Berlin encounter is of course the highlight for many fans. The winners of the games advance to the round of 16, where the battle for a place in the Final4 as well as the opportunity to play in the Sparkassen-Arena Zwickau on April 11th and 12th, 2024 are at stake.
