Experience the spectacle: 32nd City and Harbor Festival in Wittenberge!

The 32nd city and harbor festival will take place in the city center and at the harbor of Wittenberge from August 22nd to 24th, 2025. This three-day event promises a colorful mix of music, entertainment and activities for the whole family. Particularly important is the opening party on Friday evening, which starts the festival with various DJs, including star guest DJ Vize. Admission for adults is 10 euros, for children only 5 euros. Admission is from 7 p.m.

What can visitors expect on Saturday, the highlight day of the festival? A varied program is offered on several stages on Bahnstrasse. From the well-known party singer Krümel to live bands and dance groups, there is something for every taste here. In particular, the performances of the Old Green Clover and the Beuster Blue Light Museum with historic vehicles should not be missed. A children's stage with “Theater from a Suitcase” and the rousing children's music from Lotti's World attracts younger guests.

Evening program and highlights

The evening program on Saturday continues with the performance of the pop-rocker Sturm Deluxe from 8 p.m., followed by the well-known band Rednex, who delights with hits such as “Cotton Eye Joe” and “Spirit of the Hawk”. A fireworks display at the harbor at 9.45 p.m. rounds off the day, before DJ Pair Glasses keeps the mood going well into the night.

Sunday is all about family friendliness. At Nedwighafen, visitors can expect a program that ranges from Rolf Zuckowski with his children's choirs to the Wittenberg Shanty Choir. Sea shanties are sung right by the water with Lui and Fiete, which creates a maritime atmosphere. Bouncy castles, dance performances and kite athletes with colorful kites offer additional fun and action for young and old. And for everyone who loves the water, there is a ferry service to the Königsdeich and a harbor tour with the swimming ferry.

Older settlements revitalized

What makes a city? The term “city” is derived from the Middle High German “stat” and describes not only a large settlement, but also the city center, the heart of every community. In this sense, the city and harbor festival in Wittenberge is celebrated as a celebration of urban life - a real festival that brings the community together and reflects the diversity of the region. Preparations are in full swing and anticipation in the city is growing.
