Unfortunately, the celebrations cannot remain unaffected by train cancellations. rbb24 reports that on the nights of October 31st to November 1st and November 1st to 2nd between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. several trains between Berlin Central Station and BER Airport are canceled. There are also restrictions on train traffic between Berlin Ostbahnhof and BER. Travelers are therefore advised to look for alternative connections.
Further changes to train operations are expected in the following weeks. On November 5th and December 3rd, individual trains from Berlin-Charlottenburg to BER will also be affected between midnight and 4 a.m. A recurring problem at the weekend is the trains that run during the night of the 10th/11th. November and on 11th/12th November ends or begins differently in Schönefeld, while stops at BER Airport are omitted.

A lot is also expected of travelers in November: there will be numerous diversions and cancellations from November 6th to 8th and December 4th to 6th. The trains then often end in Berlin-Lichtenberg, while the stops in the large train stations, such as Berlin Hauptbahnhof, are not served. Users of alternative connections should therefore exercise extreme caution on the affected days.
