Construction site chaos and timetable changes: commuters have to get used to it!

The current traffic situation in the Teltow-Fläming region poses challenges for commuters. As maz-online.de reports, there are currently some significant changes to the timetable. The RB22, which will not run between Potsdam and Königs Wusterhausen until July 5, 2025, is particularly affected. The replacement service includes the stops in Potsdam-Charlottenhof, Potsdam Park Sanssouci, Golm and Potsdam Pirschheide, which are no longer available. Commuters should prepare to adjust their travel plans at short notice.

The RB24 is also struggling with failures. Trains between BER Airport and Wünsdorf-Waldstadt are canceled until August 15, 2025. As a replacement, buses are available for the route between Schönefeld and Zossen. So the motto here is: keep your eyes open when riding the bus!

Construction sites and traffic disruptions

The construction site situation in the area should also not be underestimated. Berliner Straße in Großbeeren is completely closed due to a burst water pipe. Drivers have to avoid using Märkische Allee, while parking bans on Lindenstrasse, Poststrasse and parts of Teltower Strasse make passage even more difficult. Traffic experts expect that the diversions will allow traffic to flow normally again from July 18th.

The Dachsweg between Iltisweg and Jägerstraße will be completely closed until October 2025 as it is being converted into a bicycle street. Drivers in Luckenwalde also have to prepare for closures on Burg Street until July 11th. The B246 in Zossen will be partially closed from July 14th to 25th and Dabendorfer Straße will remain completely closed between Glienick and Dabendorf from July 24th to August 18th. Martin-Luther-Straße is also not passable until August 8th.

Current traffic information

With regard to the entire traffic situation, ADAC Maps offers excellent support. This platform shows the current traffic flow and short disruptions in real time. It is important not only for Germany, but also for many neighboring holiday countries. When planning their route, travelers can use these services to obtain a traffic forecast for the day of departure.

With ADAC traffic information users also receive information about construction sites and potentially dangerous situations. These include, among other things, weather warnings such as slippery snow or aquaplaning. This way you can always stay up to date and plan your trips safely.

Ultimately, it remains to be hoped that the hindering circumstances will soon be a thing of the past and a smooth traffic flow will benefit not only commuters, but also all other road users.
