Construction site chaos in Uckermark: roads remain closed longer!
There are currently some structural measures in the idyllic Uckermark that require more than just patience from road users. How Northern Courier reported, drivers have to prepare for extended closures of district roads K 7312 and K 7325.
The K 7312, which leads from Briest to Golm, will be closed until October 31, 2025. Repair work is underway on an approximately 900 meter long section, which can only be carried out under full closure. Satisfaction with occupational safety and construction quality have the highest priority here. The asphalt work has already been completed, now the shoulders and road markings need to be made.
Another area affected
But the K 7325, which leads towards Lindenhagen, will also remain closed until November 21, 2025. This full closure affects a section of around 150 meters in the area of the culvert, where repair work is also being carried out. A diversion route leads via the K 7321, B 109 and K 7325. The diversions are signposted and are intended to ensure better driving pleasure while the road work progresses.

How Traffic situation reports, construction sites often cause traffic disruptions, which not only test commuters' patience, but also present new challenges, such as choosing the best detours. Danger of slipping due to winter conditions or confusing situations due to construction sites are just some of the challenges that need to be overcome.
Responsibility and contact person
But who is actually responsible for these construction measures? The IHK Munich informed that in most cases the affected districts can bear responsibility for construction sites on district roads. For larger projects, several construction agencies can even come together, especially when pipes are being laid or roads are being renovated. If you have any questions about the construction sites, there are various contacts at the responsible building authorities and district administration offices who are available to clarify matters at any time.
The district councilor has already asked for understanding for the upcoming restrictions and emphasized how important the quality of the roads is for traffic safety. In this regard, it is extremely important that residents and commuters prepare for the diversions and allow enough time for their journeys.
