Children's holiday camp in the national park: Secure places now!
In the coming summer vacation, children have the opportunity to learn from nature and actively experience adventure. The Teerofenbrücke offers places in its popular children's holiday camp from 27. July to August 2, 2025. For only 350 euros per child you can spend six nights in the heart of the only national park in Brandenburg, including all meals.
But what exactly does the little explorers expect? Families can arrive comfortably on Sunday, while the return trip takes place the following Saturday. Experienced specialists accompany the children and offer environmental pedagogical care that promotes playful use of nature. Here the boys and girls have the opportunity to get to know plants and animals up close and to experience the diverse flora and fauna of the national park.
A colorful program for curious nature lovers
The wilderness school is not only designed for the needs of children between the ages of 7 and 12, but also offers extensive leisure opportunities. In addition to the use of rustic bungalows in which the children live, a variety of activities ensure fun and excitement. In the play and sports area as well as at the campfire, the kids can let off steam and be creative. Even a forest playground with a climbing wall and a large figure chess field is available.
The meals are very special: freshly prepared meals are tuned in the nature experience. On request, menus with regional and organic ingredients can also be offered for large groups. All of these aspects make the offer of Wildernis School a real highlight in the summer vacation calendar.
Financial support for further holiday camps
An additional holiday camp is organizing the Children's and Youth Association Frischluft Brandenburg-Berlin e. V. to Scharbeutz on the Baltic Sea. There, 30 children and adolescents can enjoy sun, beach and relaxation from July 28 to August 8, 2025. This project also receives financial support from various bodies to enable young barnimers and Uckermarkers to participate.
Both offers not only offer exciting holiday activities, but also strengthen the connection to nature and promote the feeling of community among the children. If you are interested, you can register for the holiday camp in the wilderness school directly by email at l.erdmann@wildnisschule-teerofenbruecke or by phone at 03332/838840.
