Last Saturday there was a colorful children's festival in the picturesque seaside resort of Prenzlau that captivated young and old. Under the motto "Du and your club", numerous local clubs invited to a happy day full of activities for the whole family. The rush was great: around 1,400 visitors, including families with children, flocked to the seaside resort to take advantage of the great offers and have fun together.

The event was ceremoniously opened by Vice Mayor Marek Wöller-Betetz, who also actively participated in the adult relay. The smallest participants competed against each other from various elementary schools and daycare centers in exciting competitions. The results of the competitions showed the enthusiasm of the kids and the commitment of the educators. The performance of the "Siblings Scholl" daycare center, which took first place in its category, was particularly outstanding, followed by "Wunderland" and "Friendship".

The organization of the festival would not have been possible without the valuable support of the local clubs. Among other things, the breed rabbit association D 92, the city twinning association, as well as numerous sports clubs. These clubs offered stands and hands -on activities that brought the children fun and adventure: from rabbits caressing to dragon booting to dance performances - there was something for everyone. The leisure activities ranged from a popcorn machine to bouncy castles to quiz events and football darts that found the day through rain.

Another highlight was the musical program of "Krawuttke's children's music". With a rousing live concert at 11:30 a.m., the band captivated the small and large listeners. The supporting program ensured bright faces all day long, and the large make -up stand in particular was a popular starting point for imaginative transformations.

The variety of activities was a successful mix of sporting challenges, creative workshops and culinary delights. In addition to the popular “beeswax candles”, the opportunity to attend sporting competitions was also a welcome change for everyone present. The bathing operation was set on this day, which created space for undisturbed activities and a safe environment for the small water rats.

The support from sponsors such as residential construction, the Sparkasse Uckermark and the municipal utility played a crucial role in making this festival a great experience for all participants. Whether in the competition, in the game or simply when enjoying the food and drinks - the children's festival in Prenzlau was a complete success that is certainly remembered.
