In the heart of Boitzenburg, a very special event was celebrated today: a children's day party, in which the little ones were not only able to play but also experienced live music. The supervisor and e-guitarist Tom Heinrich brought the daycare playground to life with his band project, which now celebrated his first official concert premiere. As Nordkurier , the band consisted of four committed members who gave a one-hour hands-on concert that will arouse memories.

led by the talented singer and keyboardist Anna Vedder, who enthusiastically described the event as a concert premiere, the band will in future offer child-friendly rock music. "We are pleased that many children can experience a live concert for the first time," enthused daycare manager Annette Weber. The band previously rehearsed in the Keller at home and has met once a week for about half a year.

The idea for the band was born by Tom Heinrich and Anna Vedder, inspired by the enthusiasm of her daughter. Anna's father, Reiner Vedder, supported the foundation with his own musical talent. For the drummer Michael Jenke, who is known locally, it is not the first commitment in a band. "We plan not only to play cover versions, but also to develop our own pieces," explained Heinrich.

The band is currently considering whether they call themselves "Tom and the TomToms" or choose a name that the children suggest. But the decisive factor is: the music is made for all the senses. The event has already performed other activities such as face painting and sack hopping, so that a lot was offered to the little guests. The children's buffet also represented the culinary side of the celebration.
