Demmin, Deutschland - In the picturesque city of Demmin, it will be vivid again next weekend from July 11th to 13th: The "real guild of the market birds" sets a clear sign of the 55th anniversary with a colorful market. This popular event not only offers a stage for the well -known market screens, but also a real festival for the senses, as the Uckermark Kurier reports.

Everything starts on Friday, July 11th, at 11 a.m. with the official opening by Mayor Thomas Witkowski on the market square. There the shanty choir "Luv un Lee" from Rostock will create a maritime atmosphere and inspire visitors with traditional sailor songs. And best of all: everyone present enjoys free beer and an original market screens breakfast.

The actors of the market have not been ragged and bring an exciting range of delicate products. Above all, the Aal-Hinnerk from the Hamburg fish market, which will offer fresh smoked fish. But also "Nudel-Kiri" with its delicious pastas and "Milkaaa-Maaaxxx", the chocolate with the motto "Demmin snack!" The humorous bag is also represented, and cheese mey from Osnabrück has international cheese specialties in their luggage. Not to forget "the cotton worm", which appears as the successor to the popular sausage negotia.
