A serious traffic accident occurred today on the B111 in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district, in which two people were seriously injured. According to Nordkurier, an incorrect turn by a vehicle in front led to the catastrophe. The driver behind him recognized the situation too late, applied the brakes abruptly and lost control of his car. There was a serious head-on collision with another vehicle.
The force of the impact was devastating. One driver suffered life-threatening injuries and the other was seriously injured. In addition, two occupants of another vehicle suffered minor injuries. In order to carry out the rescue and recovery work, the federal highway was closed for four hours.
