Summer concert in Prenzlau: Farewell dance touches the hearts!

Prenzlau, Deutschland - The summer concert of the Christa-and-Peter Scherpf-Gymnasium Prenzlau, which recently took place in the Uckerseehalle, ensured enthusiasm for both guests and those involved. Numerous spectators, including parents, siblings, grandparents and friends of the students, filled the hall when headmaster Ludger Melters opened the event and welcomed numerous guests of honor. The guests included Frank Bretsch (SPD), the deputy district administrator, Marek Wöller-Beetz (CDU), first deputy of the city of Prenzlau, and the Keulicht couple from the Scherpf Bagemihl Foundation.

In his opening speech, Melters emphasized the importance of the musical diversity and the commitment of the students, which was impressively expressed as part of the program. Moderated by Jule Sipert, the event offered a varied program of singing, instrumental pieces and dance performances. The solo and duet contributions were particularly emphasized by talented students such as Hedy Jürgens, Harlin Schneider, Nehemiah Saunders and Charlotte Wegner.

Cultural overall experience

A highlight of the evening was the appearance of the teacher choir "Die Pauker", which is led by Ulrich Stornowski. This group, which consists of music -loving teachers, is an integral part of cultural life at school and regularly contributes to events such as Christmas concerts and high school diploma. The common advertising for music and joy in art promotes the connection between the generations and enriches the cultural offer of the school.

In addition to the teacher choirs, the choirs of the music courses under the direction of Petra Winter and Carsten Schlottke and the youth choir of the seventh to ninth classes under Uli Stornowski also contributed to the varied program. The numerous performances showed the high level of musical training at the school and made the hearts of the spectators beat faster.

an emotional farewell

A particularly emotional moment of the evening was Maja Powazka's appearance, a high school graduate and tournament dancer. In an extravagant purple dance dress, she danced with her partner Jakob the last waltz at the school. Headmaster Melters paid tribute to Maja's achievements and presented her flowers, while her family and friends in the audience provided a warm atmosphere.

The concert not only appealed to the musical diversity, but also showed the liveliness and the community spirit of the school community. The Hearty Applause at the end of the event and the warm words of Melters rounded off the evening and confirmed the success of the concert and the importance of such cultural highlights for the school and local community.
