Germany triumphs 4: 1 about the Czech Republic - U21 on title course!

MOL Aréna, Ungarn - On June 15, 2025, the German U21 soccer players in the second group game of the U21 European Championship brought in a clear victory against the Czech Republic. At halftime it was already 2-0 for Germany, which dominated the game with 73% possession. The Czech Republic, on the other hand, tried to succeed with counterattacks and had a promising opportunity with a post -shot from Gruda in added time of the first half. However, the German team, led by coach Antonio di Salvo, was qualitatively superior and prepared the spectators a passionate football game.

Nicolo Tresoldi opened the goal in the 35th minute for Germany after Collins played a perfect pass. Just nine minutes later, Paul Nebel increased to 2-0. The Czech Republic had to make a few changes after the first half to turn the game: Halinsky and Kozeluh came into play for Chaloupek and Hadas. Despite the efforts of the Czech team, Germany was clearly the stronger team.

Two more goals and one own goal

In the second half, Germany stayed tuned and scored 3-0 in the 54th minute through Nick Woltemade, followed by another goal by Eric Martel in the 58th minute. It seemed as if the Czech Republic was unable to stop the German offensive. An initially promising attack ended in an own goal of Bright Arrey-BM, which increased the score to 1: 4. Germany thus shows an impressive performance and remains on course in the European Championship.

Czech Republic, which lost 1: 3 in the opening game against England, is under pressure. For the Czech team, it will now be difficult to get ahead from Group B because they absolutely have to win so as not to leave the tournament. This U21 European Championship, which started in Slovakia on June 11th and runs in Bratislava until the final on June 28, is a significant event for the 16 participating nations.
