Germany overwhelms France 3-0 – final against England is approaching!

The Germany U21 national team clearly prevailed 3-0 against France in a thrilling semi-final of the UEFA U21 European Championship. How uefa.com reports, the DFB selection will now face England in the final next Saturday.

The start of the game was promising for the German team. In the 8th minute, Nelson Weiper gave his team the lead with a header after Paul Nebel hit the post. Just six minutes later, Nick Woltemade made it 2-0 after a defensive mistake by the French. Woltemade once again showed his shooting skills and was ultimately named player of the game.

Dominance over the course of the game

Although Germany took the lead early on, France subsequently took control of the action and dominated the game until half-time. But the DFB team's defense held firm and goalkeeper Noah Atubolu only had to parry a shot from Thierno Barry in the first minute of the second half. It was only in stoppage time that Brajan Gruda managed to make the final decision 3-0, which gave the German players more scenes of celebration.

With this victory, the German U21 team was able to win a semi-final of the U21 European Championship for the third time in a row. The record is also impressive: six out of seven semi-finals have been won, and the team has only suffered two defeats in the last 14 games at the U21 EURO kicker.de reported.
