On October 8, 2025, the MICHELIN Guide published the coveted awards for hotels in Germany. Anyone interested in exceptional accommodation should take a look at the over 7,000 hotels tested worldwide. The awards are in the form of “keys”, with the highest rating accounting for three keys. This year, a total of six hotels were awarded 3 Keys, 34 hotels received 2 Keys, and there are also 90 hotels with 1 Key. The new Hotel Vitalhotel Alter Meierhof is among the 34 hotels with two keys. The selection of hotels depends not only on the number of keys, but also on their location in Germany.
The top 3 key hotels in Germany
Three hotels stand out in particular, as they are characterized by their special architecture and their very own charm:
