Married couple tests e-car in the Black Forest: a weekend full of surprises!
Singen, Deutschland - On June 5, 2025, the Südkurier about the popular annual review puzzle. This year the riddle of Regina and Dietmar Schröer could be solved, who spent an exciting weekend with a fully electric VW ID.3, provided by Thüga Energie. The key handover took place by Jennifer Niermann from Thüga Energie, which also delighted the occasion. The couple had no experience with electrical or automatic vehicles beforehand, which made the entire experience all the more exciting.
The test drive started with a short round in the area, followed by a remarkable 400 km tour through the Black Forest to Baden-Baden. Regina Schröer expressed her enthusiasm for the ease of driving and the almost noiselessness of the vehicle. Jens Bergfeld from Thüga Energie also emphasized the advantages of modern charging systems. The use of the app and the charging card from Ladenetz.de turned out to be particularly smooth, which enabled the Schröer couple to experience stress -free driving experience.
experiences with the e-car
Another couple, Petra and Helmut Vogt from Hilzingen, also solved the annual review puzzle and spent two days with an e-golf from Thüga Energie. Her trip first took her to Lindau, followed by a visit to the Titisee in the Black Forest. Petra Vogt reported that the e-golf was a lot of fun and that she got along well with the automatic transmission. Helmut also found driving extremely pleasant. When exploring the charging stations, however, they were challenged because they first had to research the charging stations in advance to ensure smooth use.
In particular, Petra Vogt wanted better integration of electricity petrol stations into the existing petrol station network to make it easier to load in everyday life. Thüga Energie supports e-mobility with the operation of around 40 of its own charging points and offers a charging card that facilitates access to around 10,000 charging points in the network of Ladenetz.de.
The trend towards electromobility
The increase in electric vehicles in Germany is clearly visible. According to Statista , the border of 1 million fully electric cars was exceeded for the first time at the end of 2022, while the target value for 2030 is 15 million electric cars. Despite the high acquisition costs and the initial concerns regarding the range, the trend is clear: in 2023, over 500,000 new fully electric cars were approved. VW leads with over 70,600 new registrations, while Tesla recorded a slight decline with its best -selling Model Y.
The political and industrial orientation in Germany also promotes the switching of internal combustion engines to electric motors. From 2035, new petrol and diesel cars should no longer be approved, with the exception of e-fuel. In order to achieve these goals, almost 2 million electric cars must be re-registered annually by 2030.
Overall, it shows that Thüga Energie actively contributes to increasing the acceptance of electric vehicles and promotes the infrastructure for sustainable mobility. The Schröer couple and the Vogts are two examples of the growing enthusiasm for e-mobility and their securing by a reliable charging infrastructure.
