It's celebrating again in the East Village of San Diego! The 9th annual will take place on Saturday, September 20th Oktoberfest takes place, an event that combines the tradition of the German Oktoberfest with a very special San Diego twist. From 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., visitors can enjoy a very special atmosphere in the Quartyard.
The organizers, Quartyard and the East Village Association (EVA), promise a colorful mix of festive activities. Highlights include fine craft beers, delicious food and live music. Traditional Bavarian delicacies and festive sounds create the right atmosphere, conveying the charm of a real beer hall.

The offer is rounded off by the delicious tacos and other specialties from the award-winning restaurant El Comal. The musical background is provided by the Zeitgeist Oktoberfest band dominates, which delights the audience with traditional polka and participatory activities. Practical information
If you want to take part in this colorful festival, you should come a little earlier because the seating is “first come, first serve”. Age requirements: The event is 21 and over and dogs are not allowed on this day. So anyone who can dig their best lederhosen or dirndl out of the closet is welcome! Tickets are available for $20 to $25 and should be purchased in advance online as there are no refunds and no cash is accepted.
