A serious incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon on Autobahn 66 when an overloaded truck with a high loading crane got stuck on a bridge. Around 1:25 p.m., in the construction site area between the Gelnhausen -West and East junctions, the team collided, which led to considerable damage to property. The loading crane and a construction site car on the trailer were badly damaged.

The falling debris, including small chunks of cement, met a subsequent Mercedes and also added this damage. The total damage is estimated at over 100,000 euros, which makes the incident an expensive mishap. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
