Great fire in Bauschheim: Fire brigade fights against flames, residents evacuated!

In the night of Friday, June 13th, a devastating fire broke out in a barn in the Bauschheim district of Rüsselsheim. From 01:20 a.m., numerous emergency calls were received by the control center of the Groß-Gerau district. A large contingent of firefighters, including forces from Rüsselsheim, Trebur, Nauheim, Bischofsheim and Ginsheim-Gustavsburg, fought the flames that completely destroyed the wooden building. Adjacent houses were also affected by the fire.

For security reasons, eleven residents from neighboring houses had to be evacuated; They were housed in the Bauschheim community center. Fortunately, there were no injuries. The fire brigade has now brought the fire under control, and keeping the warning for residents, windows and doors closed was lifted.
