Secure your bike! Free coding in Bad Hersfeld on Wednesday
Bad Hersfeld, Deutschland - The Hersfeld-Rotenburg police department will organize a free bicycle coding at the Bad Hersfeld police station next Wednesday, June 4th. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., bicycle owners can have their bikes coded to prevent thefts and to facilitate the assignment of found bicycles.
An individual number is engraved into the frame of the bike. It is important to note that bicycles with carbon frames cannot be encoded. Pedelecs and e-bikes should appear with the key to the battery. This initiative aims to increase the safety of bicycle owners and put potential thieves to put the craft.
