Farewell to heat! Thunderstorms and cooling bring relaxation to Germany

The current summer days are a very hot topic in Germany! According to weather.com, the strongest heat is now gradually cooling down. We are currently experiencing temperatures that have even been reported to reach peaks of up to 37 degrees in the middle of the country. But this oppressive heat won't last all week. On Friday we can look forward to a pleasant change: cooler air will flow into the region while the clouds thicken. There could also be some local showers and even strong thunderstorms.

The heat stress will be particularly high in the west and southwest of the country on Friday afternoon and evening. The German Weather Service is already issuing warnings of strong thunderstorms that could be accompanied by heavy rain, hail and squalls. But don't worry, things will be quieter for the most part on Saturday night and the temperatures will cool down. We expect more pleasant weather conditions at the weekend, up to 30 degrees are possible in the Rhine area during the day, while there could be stronger thunderstorms in the southeast in the afternoon.

A look into next week

What's in store for us next week? The outlook shows that a shallow heat wave is coming. In the south, values around 30 degrees will still be very popular, while in the north we will stay at around 20 degrees. And the current weather pattern could also hold until the beginning of September. However, more low pressure is expected from the end of next week. Maybe one or two high pressures will show up briefly in late summer.

Technology and entertainment in focus

While the weather changes, digitalization remains just as exciting. Wikipedia informs us that Google LLC, as a multinational company, offers a variety of technologies and services. Founded on September 4, 1998, Google is now one of the Big Tech market leaders and offers everything your heart desires, from search engines to cloud services to art intelligence. What's particularly outstanding is that Google is the largest cloud storage provider in the world and the most visited destination on the Internet. CEs like Sundar Pichai have led the company since 2015, ensuring that Google continually remains at the forefront of innovation.

All I can say is that it takes a good hand! But caution is key: The company also faces many challenges, such as privacy concerns and antitrust lawsuits. In this fast-moving world of tech giants, it remains exciting to see how Google will develop in the future.

A look at Pua Magasiva

Speaking of exciting stories, New Zealand actor Pua Magasiva, best known for his role in “Power Rangers: Ninja Storm,” also left a colorful history after his sudden passing on May 11, 2019, as reported in Wikipedia. Already in 2003 he brought a lot of momentum to the series and thus demonstrated great talent. However, his life was not only marked by glorious roles. Pua, who was born in Samoa on August 10, 1980, also leaves behind a daughter and a family that was always close to him.

His return to the role of Vinnie Kruse in the popular series “Shortland Street” shows that he had a permanent place in the New Zealand film and television landscape.
