In a few days the city of Büren will be the center of an exciting event: The Lidl Germany Tour, the largest cycling race in the country, will stop in the region on August 22nd. On this day, the second stage runs from Herford to Arnsberg and Büren will not only be an important part of the race, but will also be welcomed by numerous cycling enthusiasts.

From August 15th to 22nd, citizens can look forward to the “Germany Tour Week”, which is filled with various cycling activities. This week begins with a racing bike community ride on August 17th at 11:30 a.m., which covers a distance of approx. 80-100 km and starts and ends at Radhaus Büren. There will be a tour on August 20th at 5 p.m. that will cover part of the original route.

This will be open from 1pm to 4pm on race day, and cyclists are expected to race through the city between 2pm and 3pm.
