According to Kai Gardeja, the municipality's tourism director, Binz is enjoying ever-increasing popularity among tourists from Germany and Europe. His prognosis? The economic impact of tourism is significant. Binz generates around 280 million euros in sales annually, with overnight stays accounting for an impressive 93 percent. According to the analysis, this results in added value of almost 140 million euros for the region, which once again underlines the importance of tourism.
