On November 7th, 2025 it's that time again: The Days of space travel are starting in Neubrandenburg for the 40th time. This special event will be ceremoniously opened in the Neustrelitz cultural district, in the picturesque Mecklenburg Lake District. The central theme of this year's opening is the exciting competition between the USA and China for supremacy in space. The importance of space travel for the geopolitical balance of power is brought into sharp focus.
The numerous enthusiastic visitors can look forward to exciting discussions and interesting lectures. And that's not all: From the following Saturday, the Space Days enter the next round. A highlight will be the presence of ESA reserve astronaut Amelie Schoenenwald, who is expected as a guest and will certainly inspire many young space fans big and small.

The Space Travel Days were launched in 1985 and are strongly influenced by the history of space travel.
