Flixbus accident in Mecklenburg: 23 injuries after tipping over dramatic!

In the night on July 4, 2025 at 2:40 a.m., a dramatic accident occurred with a Flixbus on Autobahn 19 near Röbel, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The bus, which had arrived on Fehmarn the evening before at 10:00 p.m., came off the road and overturned. There were 54 passengers on board and two bus drivers. The situation was alarming when 23 people were injured, including a passenger who was seriously injured and stayed in for two hours before it could be saved. This was then flown to Berlin with a helicopter.

The remaining slightly injured passengers were brought to surrounding hospitals, while the non-injured passengers were transported to Berlin by a replacement bus from the Mecklenburg-Pommerschen Transpse station to the central bus station in Berlin. The exact cause of the accident is still unclear and the test company Dekra was consulted for the examination. The first interrogations of passengers and bus drivers are already planned, with interpreters being needed.
