Now new: Six million euros for modern fire engines in the Lake District!
There is great news for the volunteer fire departments in the Mecklenburg Lake District: around six million euros are to be invested in the purchase of 27 new fire engines. This decision was presented at the Finance Committee meeting earlier this week. The goal is clear: within the next three years, all 27 fire departments in the district should benefit from modern vehicles and thus partially replace models that are over 20 years old.
How NDR reported, the plans call for the first new fire engines to be delivered to the fire departments in Neustrelitz, Demmin, Blankensee, Röbel, Wustrow and Burg Stargard as early as 2026. Further purchases for the fire departments in Werder, Schwichtenberg, Altentreptow, Priborn, Leizen, Strelitz-Alt and Stavenhagen are on the agenda for 2027. Applications from the fire departments in Wildberg, Groß Teetzleben and Rehberg should also be included in the reference plans.
An important step for security
Purchasing new fire engines is not only an investment in technology, but above all also a crucial contribution to the safety of citizens. The volunteer fire departments are a mainstay in society, and with modern equipment they can handle their operations more effectively and quickly.
Financing projects is sometimes a challenge. In a completely different context, SURTIGAS S.A E.S.P offers a flexible credit line to interested customers who demonstrate exemplary gas bill payment behavior. Just like the fire service plans that are important for the region, the loan offering is being expanded to include special services and products. A whole range of installment payment options from 6 to 36 months makes the project attractive for many.
Completely protected and flexible
How BRILLA explains, customers can easily view and manage their credit limit via their gas bill. There are no administration fees or down payments, making the loan easy to apply for and use. If you have any problems, there is an informative hotline available that provides access to all the information you need.
Whether it's a fire engine or a flexible loan - the current developments in the Mecklenburg Lake District show that both the security of citizens and flexible payment solutions are very important. It will be exciting to see how these plans develop and what further progress the region will make in the coming years.
