The police recorded another operation late Saturday evening in Nonnensteig in Demmin. Here a fire broke out in the basement of an apartment building, which, similar to Verchen, was noticeable through the development of heavy smoke. The well-equipped building with fire doors enabled emergency services to quickly extinguish the flames. But the extent of the damage amounts to around 75,000 euros, and the investigation has confirmed the suspicion of arson.
