Mega summer party in Bad Doberan: 8,000 visitors celebrate with Ernie and Bert!

On September 7th, 2025, the eagerly awaited NDR MV summer party took place in Bad Doberan on the picturesque festival lawn of the monastery grounds. The event attracted almost 8,000 visitors, who could look forward to a varied program. It was a complete success: around 200 participants appeared in student-appropriate costumes, which led the city to accept the check for 1,000 euros from Lotto Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. This amount will be used for a planting campaign at the Kamp in Bad Doberan, during which around 100,000 crocuses will be planted on November 8th. An unforgettable program

The summer party started at 5 p.m. and offered visitors a wealth of music and activities. Particularly outstanding was the live broadcast by NDR 1 MV, which Marc Angerstein broadcast from Bad Doberan between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. The NDR stand was also a popular stop, offering photo opportunities and an exciting local knowledge game. The crowning finale of the evening was provided by the party band “4 FUN” from Rostock, which created the right atmosphere and encouraged the guests to dance.
