The driver of the other car involved and the other accident victims were taken to nearby hospitals in an ambulance. The exact circumstances of the accident are still unclear; the criminal police have started the investigation. The motorway in the direction of Hamburg remained completely closed for around an hour and a half due to the rescue work.

The accident on the A24 is another sad example of how dangerous the influence of drugs can be on the road.
